BRAIN WAVES braking your Cars

An experimental driving simulation setup demonstrates braking a car with mind control.
This is a tech that we only can think of!! Do u think so?
If u think this, its absolutely wrong!!!
It's the future. You're racing down the highway when, all of a sudden, the driver ahead of you slows down. You know you need to hit the brakes to avoid an accident, but your foot can't move as fast as your brain. You're about to rear-end the guy, except. ...
... except that your car has read your mind. It picks up your brain waves and automatically slows down. Accident averted.
This is not fantasy. Researchers in Germany have run an experiment with drivers in a car simulator, and they report in the current issue of the Journal of Neural Engineering that they were able to identify brain waves that corresponded to a driver's wish to press the brake pedal. They tried the experiment with 18 test subjects, each of whom wore a cap wired with EEG sensors. If the drivers wanted to slam on the brakes, the car did it a crucial fraction of a second more quickly than they could.
"Waiting for the driver's response can lead to a slow response in emergency situations," wrote Stefan Haufe of the Berlin Institute of Technology. "Therefore, in order to obtain a faster confirmation, our study suggests that it is feasible to detect a driver's intention to brake, which naturally precedes any observable actions."
On average, in the study, brain waves told the car to hit the brakes 130 milliseconds faster than the driver's foot did.

Two and A Half Man ( Charlie to be replaced by Ashton Kutcher)

No one's Better Than CHARLIE

Two and a Half Men is an American television sitcom which premiered on CBS on September 22, 2003. Starring Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer, and Angus T. Jones, the show is about a hedonistic jingle writer, Charlie Harper; his uptight brother, Alan; and Alan's growing son, Jake. Charlie's free-wheeling life is complicated when his brother gets divorced and moves, along with his son, into Charlie's beach-front Malibu house. In 2011, a news article in The New York Times called it "the biggest hit comedy of the past decade." The show has ranked among the Top 20 programs every season since it first aired.
There have been eight seasons of Two and a Half Men and at least one additional season to come. In 2010, CBS and Warner Bros. Television reached a multi-year broadcast agreement for the series, renewing it through at least the 2011–12 seasons. However, CBS and Warner Bros. decided to end production for the rest of the eighth season due to Sheen entering drug rehab and making disparaging comments about the show's creator and executive producer, Chuck Lorre. Sheen was fired from the show on March 7, 2011. The ninth season will include Ashton Kutcher as Sheen's replacement.
The former "That 70's Show" and "Punk'd" star has agreed to join "Two and a Half Men" as Charlie Sheen's replacement, The Hollywood Reporter relays. He's putting the final touches on his contract, which will offer him a "huge payday," according to THR.
Rumors around Kutcher's casting began to swirl earlier on Thursday. He most recently starred in the romantic comedy film "No Strings Attached."
A little after 9 pm, Kutcher simply tweeted: (-;
Kutcher replaces Sheen, who, after having helped make the show the number one comedy on television, was fired for a long set of rants against the series' creator, Chuck Lorre. He has since gone on to mount a very public life with his porn star girlfriends, continuing to rail against Lorre and CBS in his "Violent Torpedo of Truth" road show. At one point, he said he wanted old friend Rob Lowe to replace him.
But Show without Charlie is not fun!!

Largest and Most Distant Reservoir of Water Found By Astronomers!!!

This artist's concept illustrates a quasar, or feeding black hole, similar to APM 08279+5255, where astronomers discovered huge amounts of water vapor

Two teams of astronomers have discovered the largest and farthest reservoir of water ever detected in the universe. The water, equivalent to 140 trillion times all the water in the world's ocean, surrounds a huge, feeding black hole, called a quasar, more than 12 billion light-years away.
"The environment around this quasar is very unique in that it's producing this huge mass of water," said Matt Bradford, a scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif. "It's another demonstration that water is pervasive throughout the universe, even at the very earliest times." Bradford leads one of the teams that made the discovery. His team's research is partially funded by NASA and appears in the Astrophysical Journal Letters.
A quasar is powered by an enormous black hole that steadily consumes a surrounding disk of gas and dust. As it eats, the quasar spews out huge amounts of energy. Both groups of astronomers studied a particular quasar called APM 08279+5255, which harbors a black hole 20 billion times more massive than the sun and produces as much energy as a thousand trillion suns.
Astronomers expected water vapor to be present even in the early, distant universe, but had not detected it this far away before. There's water vapor in the Milky Way, although the total amount is 4,000 times less than in the quasar, because most of the Milky Way’s water is frozen in ice.
Water vapor is an important trace gas that reveals the nature of the quasar. In this particular quasar, the water vapor is distributed around the black hole in a gaseous region spanning hundreds of light-years in size (a light-year is about six trillion miles). Its presence indicates that the quasar is bathing the gas in X-rays and infrared radiation, and that the gas is unusually warm and dense by astronomical standards. Although the gas is at a chilly minus 63 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 53 degrees Celsius) and is 300 trillion times less dense than Earth's atmosphere, it's still five times hotter and 10 to 100 times denser than what's typical in galaxies like the Milky Way.
Measurements of the water vapor and of other molecules, such as carbon monoxide, suggest there is enough gas to feed the black hole until it grows to about six times its size. Whether this will happen is not clear, the astronomers say, since some of the gas may end up condensing into stars or might be ejected from the quasar.

NASA finds First Trojan Asteriod Sharing Earth's Orbit

PASADENA, Calif. – Astronomers studying observations taken by NASA's Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) mission have discovered the first known "Trojan" asteroid orbiting the sun along with Earth.
Trojans are asteroids that share an orbit with a planet near stable points in front of or behind the planet. Because they constantly lead or follow in the same orbit as the planet, they never can collide with it. In our solar system, Trojans also share orbits with Neptune, Mars and Jupiter. Two of Saturn's moons share orbits with Trojans.
Scientists had predicted Earth should have Trojans, but they have been difficult to find because they are relatively small and appear near the sun from Earth's point of view.
The asteroid is roughly 1,000 feet (300 meters) in diameter. It has an unusual orbit that traces a complex motion near a stable point in the plane of Earth's orbit, although the asteroid also moves above and below the plane. The object is about 50 million miles (80 million kilometers) from Earth. The asteroid's orbit is well-defined and for at least the next 100 years, it will not come closer to Earth than 15 million miles (24 million kilometers). An animation showing the orbit is available at: http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/videogallery/index.html?media_id=103550791 .
"It's as though Earth is playing follow the leader," said Amy Mainzer, the principal investigator of NEOWISE at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif. "Earth always is chasing this asteroid around."

A handful of other asteroids also have orbits similar to Earth. Such objects could make excellent candidates for future robotic or human exploration. Asteroid 2010 TK7 is not a good target because it travels too far above and below the plane of Earth's orbit, which would require large amounts of fuel to reach it.

Harry Potter's Last Movie Smashes US Box Office

Initial reports on US ticket sales for the last Harry Potter film in the series had, on Friday, passed $80 million (£50m) - it was the most lucrative single day in the history of Hollywood.
In the last climactic confrontation between the forces of good and evil in the world of wizardry, there was already one clear victor – the studio.
Warner Bros said that Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows – Part 2 took $43.5 million for midnight showings on Thursday night and estimated its earnings as about another $40 million during the day on Friday, the website Deadline Hollywood reported. The previous biggest single day at the box office was set by Twilight Saga: New Moon with $72 million.
The film seemed certain to break the previous record for an opening three-day weekend in the US – the $158 million grossed by Dark Knight, the 2008 Batman movie. There were predictions that Harry Potter’s final on-screen adventures could have earned $180 million in the US by Sunday night, smashing pre-release estimates of $125-$150 million.
And as records tumbled, it was also on track to break the previous high for opening weekend takings outside the US – the $260 million forPirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides – after reaping in an estimated $162.50 million in foreign cinemas by Friday night.

The final chapter begins as Harry, Ron, and Hermione continue their quest of finding and destroying the Dark Lord's three remaining Horcruxes, the magical items responsible for his immortality. But as the mystical Deathly Hallows are uncovered, and Voldemort finds out about their mission, the biggest battle begins and life as they know it will never be the same again.

The first scene of David Yates’s film picks up where his previous instalment left off: with a shot of the dark lord Voldemort’s (Ralph Fiennes) noseless face in triumph as he steals the most powerful magic wand in the world from the tomb of Harry’s protector, Professor Dumbledore (Michael Gambon). With it he will become invincible.
In the very next scene, we find Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint), looking unfeasibly vulnerable and young, as they struggle with the vast responsibility of stopping Voldemort in his tracks.
What chance do these adolescents have against the powers of darkness?
But this is a film about the triumph of the weak, a theme captured in two of its most memorable scenes.
The first is a marvellous set piece, in which our heroes escape from the vault of Gringotts Bank on the back of a beautifully rendered CGI dragon.

Amy Winehouse DEAD

Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London apartment Saturday (July 23). The U.K. singer was 27 years old.
A press release from Metropolitan Police does not specify Winehouse by name, but reads: "Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05 hours today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased. On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene. Inquiries continue into the circumstances of death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained."
Just last month, Winehouse was forced to cancel her European tour, following a disastrous performance in Belgrade that went viral on YouTube. The troubled singer, has long struggled with drug and alcohol addiction, making many references to these struggles in her music.
Amy Jade Winehouse, born September 14, 1983, exploded onto the U.K. scene in 2003 with her debut album, Frank, which was nominated for the Mercury Prize, the award given to the year's best British or Irish album. After a string of well-received festival gigs and an Ivor Novello songwriting award, she began work on the album that would make her an international star: Back to Black, released Stateside in 2007.

NASA eliminates budget for manned Lunar missions

NASA's grand plan to return to the moon, built on President George W. Bush's vision of an ambitious new chapter in space exploration, is about to vanish with hardly a whimper. With the release Monday of President Obama's budget request, NASA will finally get the new administration's marching orders, and there won't be anything in there about flying to the moon.

The budget numbers will show that the administration effectively plans to kill the Constellation program that called for a return to the moon by 2020. The budget, expected to increase slightly over the current $18.7 billion, is also a death knell for the Ares 1 rocket, NASA's planned successor to the space shuttle. The agency has spent billions developing the rocket, which is still years from its first scheduled crew flight.

Barca Clashes Munich>> 2 - 0

Highly-rated midfielder Thiago Alcantara scored both goals as European champions Barcelona defeated Bayern Munich 2-0 on Wednesday to win the pre-season Audi Cup...This turned out to be superb match for the Barcelona fans.

Barcelona, playing without the likes of Lionel Messi, Xavi and Carles Puyol, were rarely threatened by a Bayern side who kick off their league campaign next weekend.

"We deserved this victory because we made the most of our chances," said 20-year-old Thiago, who found the net in the 42nd and 75th minutes.

In the match for third place, Brazil's Internacional defeated AC Milan in a penalty shoot-out after the two sides were locked at 2-2 at the end of normal time.
